Last evening, I saw my son run in glee,
it reminded me of my running spree.
Round and round, I would always run,
not knowing it would lead me to none.
Tired and weary of all the running,
I decided to reach my goal walking.
It was not easy to walk at first,
nor was I ready to break my tryst.
So, I sang n danced till my feet ached,
I wrote n painted till my fingers cramped.
And never gave up till I found my flow,
and could paint n dance with the same glow.
At last, I conquered my own world,
and straightened my life that was twirled.
Now life is full of bliss,
like a chocolate made in Swiss.
The brush of life is in my hands to paint,
the music of life, dances to the tunes I create.
Friends, when life looks mighty tough,
that is the time we need to wake up.
Even if you find it hard in the beginning,
Trust me! Don’t give up n keep moving.
Till you find the gift you were born with,
and start LIVING THE LEGACY you are blessed with!!
